Scripture: 1st Corinthians 15:54-55 NIV
When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O death is your victory? “Where, O death is your sting?
Testify: Let’s be real, most of us don’t want to die or even think about it. So, writing this devotional was tough because it forced me to truly reflect on the meaning of resurrection. I know Jesus died and was resurrected; he was literally brought back to life. However, in my head I’m screaming, but that’s JESUS!! Now, I know, that our death is not final, and believing that should take the sting out… But I had to stop typing for a bit to chat with my Jesus and say, not yet Lord!!
Edify: This scripture tells us what happens when we are properly clothed in Christ. When we are clothed in Christ, we are born again in his image and our life becomes a reflection of him. We are transformed, so like Christ, when we die, our death is not final! Our devout belief that he is the risen king is our pathway to immortality AFTER our natural bodies die. Living a life for Christ gives us over victory over death, our physical bodies dying is not the end. When we are resurrected and meet our Lord and Savior, it signifies a new life that will never die again. Resurrection and everlasting life are the promise and reward for living a life that is a reflection of Christ, and not the evil and wicked ways of this world.
Apply: Challenge yourself to have a conversation with a sister in Christ about resurrection. Take note of what you think and feel, then spend some time talking to God about your thoughts and feelings. I know I will!

I love this ‼️‼️‼️
That was AWESOME ‼️
