TeaTime Devotional April 30th, 2025

Scripture:     Revelation 5:12 ISV

They sang with a loud voice, “Worthy is the lamb who was slaughtered to receive power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and praise!”  

Testify:

 When I think of the goodness of Jesus and all that He has done for me my soul cries out hallelujah! I have looked over my life and it has not been easy. There have been times that I was at death’s door or even felt like giving up. There have been times that I have been angry with God and even had attempts of walking away. But I begin to think of what God sent His son to do! How the conversation between Jesus and God went, the love that flowed from Jesus’s lips when He agreed to be slaughtered for me (I was not even thought about) but he came to die for me.

Edify:

With a loud voice I praise Jesus for the many things that He has done! How he redeemed our sins.  I praise Him for the power that He has over Satan. I praise Jesus for knowing how to defeat the enemy. There is no greater love than Jesus, knowing that He would be crucified and beaten and still made the journey to earth. You can rest assured that Jesus came to fulfill the law so that we can have a chance for redemption. I praise His matchless name. I honor him! And collectively we can say, we thank you for your infinite wisdom. Thank you for strength to endure all things and the wisdom to maneuver through.  We thank you that you still bring humanity back to our father.

Apply:

Fall on your knees and begin to praise God for His Son Jesus! Raise your hands and begin to thank Him for what He has done! Let the fruit of your lips sing out hallelujah and your heart write melodies of praise “you are Holy” you are “King of Kings” you are the “greatest counselor” you’re a “way maker” the “most high” and “awesome ruler” we thank you for power over death!
