TRAILS TO TRIUMPH
Scripture: Psalms 27:14 NLT
Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.
Testimony:
When I think of how I feel while waiting on God, the best description I can give is a roller coaster ride. I have waves of emotions—excitement and anxiety, mixed with fear—ending with Him allowing me to accomplish exactly what He said when it’s all over. However, no one really talks about that slow-moving crank before the big drop, the jerking that your body feels during the twists and turns, or the abrupt stop when it’s all over. The same way you can’t get off the ride until it is over is the same endurance we must have while waiting on God. We are not supposed to get off this ride called faith, even though some of us have before. God wants us to pull up and keep going; trials and tribulations turn into ministry at the end. When you’re in your waiting season with God, you have to believe that it’s His will, His way, and His timing. So, I endure the ride, knowing that I will be better after the wait is over.
Edify:
Psalm 27:14 says, "Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord." This scripture should encourage believers to trust in God's timing and to find strength and courage in Him. While waiting for His help or deliverance, remain steadfast in faith and hope—even when facing difficulties. Navigate life's challenges, knowing that He is in control. Though waiting on God can sometimes be hard, we must remain strong; we must make our hearts take courage, and again, continue to wait on the Lord. Double emphasis on wait.
Apply:
In the midst of waiting on the Lord, keep the faith, trust in Him, and then pull up. Your trials will turn into triumphs so we can help somebody else.
