Let Him Go Before You
Scripture: Deuteronomy 31:8
It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed".
Testify:
“Pulling up” may come easy to a lot of us, but what if you’re not supposed to be the one who pulls up? Do you know your Father, who sits high, is the King of pulling up? I recently went to God asking for restoration in a particular area in my life. When I thought God was taking too long, I took matters into my own hands and pulled up myself. I allowed my emotions of anger to get the best of me. Then I tried something new and surrendered myself back to God again. I got all the clarity and revelation that I needed, and in fact, the restoration I got was actually for me and not my situation.
Edify:
In the scripture, God reminds us that He goes before us in every situation and hardship. No need to call the gang when we have God—our Father who clears the scene every time He “pulls up.” This verse assures us, as believers, that God’s presence goes before us and provides strength and confidence for us to show up, even in the face of uncertainty. God’s personal presence provides comfort and guarantees our success and security as we face life’s challenges, reminding us to trust His faithfulness instead of our own strength. This scripture offers divine guidance and unwavering support, serving as a powerful encouragement for us, as believers, to move forward with courage and peace.
Apply:
Before your next “pull up” moment, take a pause and let your Father go before you and show up—because He does it best. The promise, “He will not leave you nor forsake you,” highlights God’s constant, reliable commitment and faithfulness to His children.
