Scripture: Psalm 46:10
"Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."
Testify:
Question? How many of you all remember the year 2020? Do you remember what vacations you had planned, or what milestones you or your child(ren), significant other, or parent(s) were going to celebrate? Well, let me take you down memory lane. December 12, 2019, a cluster of patients in China's Hubei Province, in the city of Wuhan, begin to experience the symptoms of an atypical pneumonia-like illness that does not respond well to standard treatments. January 20, 2020, was the first confirmed case of COVID in the U.S. By late March 2020 it was declared a pandemic, and social distance went into effect. During this time silence swept through the land, many families lost family members, jobs folded up, Zoom and Conference Calls became a popularity of communication. Vacations were cancelled due to a halt in travel. Celebrations turned from in-person parties, to drive-by's with blowing your horns and waving. It was mandated that you had to inject yourselves with a series of shots or you stood a chance of being fired from employment, and isolated from social groups and gatherings. During that time, fear and panic took over people and regardless of your denomination of Faith, everyone was coming together calling on that one name, JESUS".
Edify:
When I look back just a few years ago, God was sending a message. As Psalm 46:10 tells us find a place of quiet and stillness, and to recognize and acknowledge God's presence and power. To trust God, suggests that there's a need to quiet the mind and body. Being quiet is not always referring to "lip service", but also about quieting the inner turmoil of thoughts and anxieties. The ending part of the verse, "Know that I am God" assures and emphasizes the importance of recognizing God's sovereignty and power. Being still, is just a reminder to pause, be quiet, and at that very moment we can understand God's presence and his purpose. He will give a sense of Peace that will surpass all understanding.

Question, are you really allowing God's will to be done? When God asks us to be still, he wants us to trust him wholeheartedly. This requires us to recognize that he is the one in control. Shut up the noise in your mind, in your heart, and stay quiet, stay calm, let go, and Let God. Watch him do what Only God can Do!
