Scripture: Isaiah 40:31 NKJV
“But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
Testify:
I was talking with a friend recently and we discussed how dry season has been. We began to discuss what’s been happening either in our lives or around us, when suddenly the Holy Spirit enlightened me that this dry season is simply an invitation to go deeper. He’s doing something greater.
Edify:
There’s a song by Maverick City Music-Wait on You, that says (Singing) That’s what happens when you wait! You get wiser, you get a little stronger. So, my dear family wait on God. Tough and dry seasons come and it’s so easy to become dehydrated. Which produces the feeling of lack for the word, praise and worship, fasting and praying. In a dehydrated spiritual state, you go from doing all of the above to a season of not feeling like you’re doing enough. You can go from a season of abundance to a dry and tough season really quick. You can even go from a dry season to an even dryer season. Remember that in these dry and tough seasons, God is with you. While your there, start doing more than you ever done before. Read His word, spend time with God in mere conversation just you and him, praise and worship him even when you don’t feel like it. Be intentional about Him. As you endure, revival is coming. This season is crucial and is a simple invitation from God to breakthrough to a new dimension in him. Just as the Israelites became wary while waiting a God, He reminded them that they who wait patiently on the Lord, will have renewed strength. They will gain wings like eagles to walk without getting tired and run and not pass out. So, turn your heart to him and wait to see what He does. Revival is coming!

Touch your heart and say God you can dwell here. Decrease me and increase your spirit in me. Teach me how to allow my heart to prepare for your dwelling. I give you an open invitation to teach me.
