Scripture: Joel 2: 25-26
So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, my great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty, and he satisfied and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and my people shall never be put to shame.
Testify:
There is a song that says, “Through it all, through it all, I learn to trust in Jesus, I learn to trust in God.” A couple years ago, I didn’t understand the weight that this song carried until I went through. I was going through so much and I turned to God. It seemed like everyone around me disappeared including family and friends. I felt so lost and alone. But God, restored me with what I needed, praying individuals that was going to push me into my purpose and assignment for my life.
Edify:
While reading this scripture, I through about Job. Job was a God-fearing man. No matter what the devil threw at him, Job remained faithful and loyal to God. Job lost his money, his home and family, but not once did he lose trust in God. Because of Job’s loyalty, God restored Job with more than he lost. The scripture states that God will restore the years that the different locust has eaten. You shall eat in plenty, and he will satisfy you. As you continue in your faith walk with God, remain focused. Don’t get discouraged about losing things of this world. Just know God will restore.
Apply:
My friend be strong and of good courage. Your faith will cost you, but don’t be discouraged because God has the ability to give you a Job like restoration. No matter what kind of worm. God has plenty more blessings to reign over you.
