Scripture: Romans 13:11
“And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.”

Yes, we are living in the last days. Anyone with spiritual eyes can see the signs: creation groaning, societies unraveling, governments confused, and evil increasing in both boldness and frequency. But more than the outward signs, the true alarm bell rings within our hearts. Are we aligned with God, or distracted by the world? Are we seeking His presence or just surviving the day? The spiritual war around us is intense and unrelenting. But praise be to God, so is His power, His protection, and His plan. As believers, we cannot afford to coast or remain neutral. This is the time to rise in worship, walk in holiness, and stay rooted in relationship with our Heavenly Father. The devil isn’t taking breaks, and neither should we. Let us be sober-minded, alert, ready and equipped to stand and fight in prayer, praise, and purpose.

The apostle Paul wrote with urgency to the early church: "Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you" (Ephesians 5:14). This call echoes through the ages and is more urgent today than ever. Every tick of the clock is one moment closer to that glorious return of Jesus, when the trumpet will sound, and we will be caught up to meet Him in the air. This is not a myth or metaphor; it is our blessed hope. The world may laugh, scoff, or mock, but we know in whom we believe. We are called to live in expectation, not apathy. We must let this truth shape our choices, our urgency, and our worship. Now is the time to rekindle the flame in our hearts, shake off slumber, and redeem every opportunity to live fully for Him.

So WAKE UP, you sleeping giant! The kingdom needs you; not someday, but today! There are souls waiting to hear the gospel. There are battles to be fought in prayer. There is love to be poured out, truth to be spoken, and hope to be given. You are not called to be a background character in the kingdom of God — you are chosen to be a light on a hill, a voice in the wilderness, and a vessel of His glory. Don't bury the treasure God has placed in you. Multiply it. Share it. Live it out boldly. We are His ambassadors, and time is short. Let's go forth in boldness, love, and unwavering faith; to lift high the name of Jesus and make Him known until He returns.
