Scripture: Numbers 14:9 KJV
“Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them.”
Testify:I can testify that I am a woman of faith who believes what God says, even when it makes no sense. There have been times when my faith wavered because what God spoke seemed too far-fetched for my mind to grasp. I saw His promises as giants, too big and too impossible to reach. Yet, every time doubt rises, God tags me back into faith. He tags me into situations I didn’t think I could handle, reminding me that His strength works best when mine runs out.
Edify:
When Israel camped at Mount Sinai and finally moved toward the Promised Land, it had been over a year since their deliverance from Egypt. Once slaves, they were now free—yet fear still followed them. Moses sent twelve spies to survey the land; ten returned with fear-filled words, focusing on giants rather than God’s power. Only Caleb and Joshua believed. They stood firm and declared, “Do not rebel against the Lord and do not be afraid.” They were tagged by God to walk in faith when others walked in fear.
Many today are still led by the ten who operate in fear instead of the two who trusted God. Fear makes us long for what’s familiar, even when the familiar is bondage. Maybe that speaks to you right now. Perhaps God has tagged you into something new—something uncertain, something stretching. It may feel uncomfortable, but it’s divine positioning. God is calling you not to look at the size of the obstacle but at the size of your God.
Apply:
Today, take a little time and reflect on the promises of God. You are tagged for purpose. Tagged for promise. Tagged for victory. Step forward in faith, for the Lord is with you—do not be afraid.
