Spread MOR Word
Scripture: Psalms 142:4 NIRV
Look and see that no one is on my right side to help me. No one is concerned about me. I have no place of safety. No one cares whether I live or die.
Testify:
Truth be told, I fouled out. Truth be told, I spent time in the penalty box, and truth be told, I got knocked out. Truth be told, I let my family down.
As much as I have tried to push through the pressures of life and create a better situation for me and my family, I began to realize that I couldn’t get into the winner’s circle by myself. So, I started to look around to see whom I could tag in to help me through fouling out again, only to find that no one was concerned about me and my family. Truth be told, when I spent time in the penalty box, I had time to reflect after the rejection by others when I needed a safe place to regroup. I couldn’t find anybody on my right side to lend a helping hand. Then it came to me—it’s time to start seeking a different circle than my norm, because I’m tired of being knocked out.
Edify:
As believers, we can’t spend time trying to figure out why people do the things that they do. When we pick up where our Christ left off, we must follow that God given mission. God prayed for his followers to get engaged by looking for the next tagged your it partner; to help build up, encourage and instruct others believer to grow in their faith so that we can take God’s word to a dying world (the people who have not repented of their sins). So, my fellow kingdom builders, tagged your it! Let’s spread the good news about Jesus the Christ and help people that may have fouled out, spent time in the penalty box, were knocked out, and to the one’s who feel as if they let their family down: to hold on to the proven fact that God said don’t be afraid for he is with us.
Apply:
Begin to look for opportunities outside your norm or what may make you feel uncomfortable while serving God’s people. People who may look or sound like they need a place to feel safe or the ones that may be decaying spiritually. Begin to speak a kind word to them and help them to open up.
