Tag In the Holy Spirit
Scripture: Romans 8:26 (NIV)
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
Testify:
Sometimes in life we grow weary in well-doing. There are moments when I don’t have the words to pray or even know how to express what’s in my heart to the Father. Yet even in those silent and broken places, I find comfort in knowing that I carry the Holy Spirit within me. When my words fall short, the Spirit intercedes, taking the cries of my heart and translating them before the throne of God in ways I never could. That assurance reminds me that I am never unheard, never overlooked, and never alone because the Spirit within me speaks on my behalf. That’s when I know I can always tag the Holy Spirit in, and he will take care of the rest.
Edify:
There are moments when life feels so heavy that words escape us. We may sit in silence, wondering if God hears us, unsure of what to say or how to pray. But this is where we must remember the gift of the Spirit. When you tag the Holy Spirit in, you are leaning on the One who knows your heart better than you do. The Spirit doesn’t just help you pray, He prays through you, interceding with groanings too deep for words. That means even your sighs, your tears, and the prayers you never manage to speak are carried straight to the Father. What comfort it is to know that heaven doesn’t require perfect words only an open heart. Prayer is not about eloquence, it’s about surrender. And when you yield, the Spirit fills the gap, ensuring that nothing you feel, face, or fear is ever lost in translation before God.
