I’m Tagged For This Moment
Scripture: John 15:16 NIV
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit, fruit that will last, and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
Testimony:
There have been many times when I doubted different seasons in my life, particularly when I didn’t feel chosen for anything. I didn’t think I had a seat at specific tables or a voice in certain rooms. Yet God, in His faithfulness, placed me exactly where He wanted me to be; in sanctuaries, in meetings, in spaces I never dreamed I’d enter. In those quiet moments, I heard the Lord speak to my heart, “It’s time”. In other words, “Tag you’re it.” It was His way of reminding me that He has called and ordained me for this very time and place. What felt accidental was actually a divine appointment. Just like the scripture says, we didn’t choose Jesus first; He chose us. So, God is showing me that when He tagged me, it’s not the game tag; it’s a calling. I’ve been selected, set apart, and sent forth to bear fruit where He plants me.
Edify:
Have you ever felt like you weren’t chosen for anything? Maybe overlooked, unnoticed, or left out? The truth is, God has already called you, chosen you, and ordained you for such a time as this. As I mentioned, this scripture is God’s way of saying, “Tag you’re it.” You didn’t pick yourself, and people didn’t like you. God Himself did. He has placed you in the exact rooms, relationships, and opportunities where your light is needed. So don’t count yourself out. You are not accidental. You are purposeful. You are equipped. You are tagged. And when God tags you, it means He trusts you with an assignment that only you can fulfill. Today, walk boldly knowing: Tag you’re it! You are chosen, you are called, and you are right where God wants you to be.
Apply:
God is declaring over you:
When that child needs guidance: Tag, you’re it. You are the example God placed in their life.
When a coworker is discouraged: Tag you’re it. You carry the encouragement they need.
When someone needs prayer, comfort, or direction: Tag you’re it. You’re not there by chance; you’re there by assignment.
You don’t have to wait for a title, a microphone, or a platform. Sorry, but not sorry, you are it. Your smile, your words, your presence, your testimony. So today, instead of asking, “Why am I here?” try saying, “I’m here because God tagged me for this moment.” Heavenly Father, thank You for choosing the person who is reading this. Today, they accept the assignment. Give them the courage to walk boldly in the places You’ve tagged them to be. Use their life, their words, and their presence to be a blessing to others. I declare, Tag, you are it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
