If You See Something, Say Something
Scripture: Isaiah 58:1 TPT
“Shout it loud and clear! Don’t hold back! Let your voice be like a trumpet blast! Declare to my people their rebellion and to Jacob’s tribes their sin.

A popular movement was started by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS): "If You See Something, Say Something." This was a campaign to raise public awareness about terrorism-related suspicious activity. This movement encouraged people to speak up—understanding that silence is not a weapon, but an internal time bomb that will cause damage to the person who chooses to remain quiet.
My husband recently helped me with this. God spoke to him and revealed unforgiveness in our hearts. He revealed that this silent hatred could hinder our ministry. Not only did he see something; he said something. He revealed our unforgiveness and then led us into a prayer of repentance. The freedom that we have experienced has been phenomenal, and it’s all because he said something.
Who do you have in your life that will keep you accountable?
Edify:
It seems like Isaiah had an "If You See Something, Say Something" moment. The scripture discusses the children of Israel being rebellious; their actions were contrary to the God that they served. In my interpretation, the Israelites were going to church for the wrong reasons—probably because that is what they were supposed to do on Sundays, or because their friends went to church. They were asking for blessings but did not want to live right. They were fasting but still treating their neighbors poorly, fighting and arguing while they were supposed to be submitting to God.
God tells Isaiah to shout, or cry loud—don’t hold back! Let your voice be as loud as a trumpet. Tell my people about their sins and rebellion. In other words, if you see something, say something. If you see your neighbor, friends, or family going the wrong way, Its your responsibility to say something.

This month, MOR Ministries TeaTime Devotional is about to speak up. God is going to use our pens to help restore, redeem, deliver, and—most of all—speak up. We are about to speak loud, like a trumpet. We will declare, by using our voices, that the devil is defeated and our lives belong to God. After all, we’ve been stretched; we have stopped speaking the wrong things by shutting up; we have pulled up on the enemy with the power of God. Now, we are speaking up! Ready, set, go.
