Scripture: Ephesians 1:18-20 (NIV)
"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms"
Testify:
I must start off by lifting my voice and saying, "Ye God, Ye God"!! See, my testimony is this: It is the fourth month of the year, and I have been given the same message from literally three different individuals’, with most recent being a few Sundays ago, and now this is the fourth time. Same message but in a different style and form. I don't find it strange, weird, or odd that I was assigned this scripture. It's just another way God is speaking unto me, and just like being pregnant, my due date is soon to come.
Edify:
In this Scripture, Paul is praying that the people of the Church of Ephesus eyes would be enlightened in a way that the reality of God gets into their experience, and their being. We should understand the hope and promise of God and recognize the source of his great power. When God opens our Spiritual eyes, it heightens our Spiritual awareness and allows us to become more attuned to his voice, and where the Holy Spirit is leading us. Jeremiah 1:5 states, "Before I made you in your mother's womb, I chose you. Before you were born, I set you apart for a special work." Then Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the plans I have for you."
Apply:
Lying dormant, being inactive, just idling, and coming to a halt can be very frustrating and become detrimental to our Spirituality. But isn't God Awesome?! He will place you in the right location, send the right person(s) your way, and put the right corrections before you clear and concise, to Resurrect your Spirit-Man to become whole again. Songwriter, Andrae' Crouch in 1973 wrote a song called, "Take Me Back". Some of the lyrics states, " Take me back dear Lord, to the place where I first received you. I feel that I'm so far from you, Lord. But still, I hear you calling me. I must confess Lord, I've been blessed. But yet my souls not satisfied. Renew my faith, restore my joy. Then dry my weeping eyes." In closing, I will finish how I began, "Ye God, Ye God"!! "I Personally Got and Received the Message, Loud and Clear!"
